Chennai Express set many a record at box office and even Zee TV had coughed up Rs. 50 crore for its satellite rights but they had a good return with maximum ratings. “There was a lot of responsibility. They took the film at a high price, and not at what the rumours say. It was an expensive film. We don’t understand how it performs on TV but the team of Zee TV said they were happy and may be because of the film they are number one now.”

The actor further said that, “Money has never been the criteria. ‘Chennai Express’ is over now, new films will come, records will be broken.”
