Shashank Khaitaan CONFIRMS Dulhania 3; Clarifies Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari Is Not A Part Of Varun Dhawan-Alia Bhatt’s Film Franchise

Shashank Khaitan is gearing up for the release of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, and during the trailer launch, he confirmed Dulhania 3 is on the cards. This film will continue the Dulhania franchise after Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania.

When asked if Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is a part of the Dulhania franchise, director Shashank Khaitan answered, “Meri humesha koshish yeh rehti hai ki main logon ko entertain kar sakun, hasaa sakun. And I think aaj ke mauhol mein hasna sabse zyada zaroori hai — logon ko theatre mein aake enjoy karna, hasna. Toh jis tareeke se meri storytelling rahi hai, ek family entertainer — log masti kar rahe hain, shaadi ka ek mauhol hai. I think I got lucky in marriage, toh mujhe lagta hai ki sabki shaadi hona chahiye and stage pe kuch log hain jinki shaadi honi chahiye, toh bas yahi se shuruaat horahi hai.”

The director also confirmed Dulhania 3, after Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is of a similar genre but a different film. Shashank said, “Umeed pe bhi duniya kaayam hai, zaroor aayegi.”
