Shershaah: Sidharth Malhotra drops new poster of Kargil war drama

Actor Sidharth Malhotra shared a new poster from his next film Shershaah. Sidharth wrote, “His dream was no different, but his story is like no other. A dream that inspired many generations including me. #ShershaahOnPrime releasing on 12th August!” In the poster, the actor is wearing the army uniform with his back towards the camera. His leading lady Kiara Advani also shared the new poster and captioned it as, “Big dreams, bigger legacy.#ShershaahOnPrime releasing on 12th August!.”

Shershaah will trace the life journey of Kargil war hero Vikram Batra. The film is jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Kaash Entertainment. Apart from rumoured lovebirds Sidharth and Kiara, the movie also features Shiv Panditt, Raj Arjun, Pranay Pachauri, Himmanshu Ashok Malhotra, Nikitin Dheer, Ankita Goraya, Anil Charanjeett, Sahil Vaid, Shataf Figar and Pawan Chopra in pivotal roles. Sheshaah will release on August 12 on Amazon Prime Video.

Earlier, in a statement, Karan Johar had said, “Shershaah is the true story of a war hero whose indomitable spirit and bravery brought victory to our nation. His sacrifices are invaluable and his life is an inspiration for generations to come. We are extremely glad to have found a home for what I believe is a true cinematic marvel, in Amazon Prime Video, and are excited to mark the beginning of a new chapter in our relationship with them. The movie will see Sidharth in a double role, as Kargil hero and army captain Vikram Batra and his identical twin brother Vishal.
