Shraddha Kapoor is one busy actress as she has a number of films in her kitty. Where she has finished shooting for ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ and ‘Stree’, ‘Sahoo’ and Saina Nehwal biopic are two films she is currently working on.

In April last year, the announcement about Shraddha being roped in to play Saina in her biopic was made and since then, Shraddha had started training for the biopic. A couple of months down the line, rumours of the film put at the backburner started doing the rounds. Soon after, those were cleared and now, Shraddha has spoken about her upcoming film.

In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Shraddha said, “It’s a difficult sport, very challenging, but I’m enjoying myself. I’ve already taken 38–40 classes, but there’s still a long way to go which is why even though we start filming next month, we will shoot the badminton scenes only early next year.”

Talking about her other film ‘Sahoo’, which is a bilingual film (in Hindi and Telugu), Shraddha said, “We take a shot in Hindi or Telugu, then repeat it, in the other language. It’s like shooting two films simultaneously.”

Telugu is not a language Shraddha is familiar with and that has made things a little difficult for her. “I have been badgering the director, Sujeeth, who’s very bright, to explain the meaning of every dialogue because I don’t want to rely on placards and prompters as that breaks your chain of thought and emotions,” the actress said.

Coming back to her Saina Nehwal biopic, the actress was seen spending time with Saina. The badminton player and the actress had also shared pictures of them bonding over food. Below are some pictures:
