Sidharth Malhotra And Tamannaah Bhatia Folk Thriller Vvan: Force Of The Forest Gets NEW Release Date

Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia starrer Vvan: Force of the Forest has finally been given a release date. The movie’s producers posted a poster on social media on Friday, announcing that it will be released in theatres on May 15, 2026.

Vvan – Force of the Forest is expected to go on floors in June this year. It is a folk thriller that will be directed by Arunabh Kumar. Sharing the poster on social media, they wrote, “The forest has whispered. The force will be unleashed on 15th May 2026! Get ready for the big screen adventure.”

Vvan will mark the first collaboration between Tamannaa Bhatia and Sidharth Malhotra. The much-anticipated horror-thriller will be co-directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Arunabh Kumar. The producers revealed a teaser for Tamannaah Bhatia’s role in Sidharth Malhotra’s film last month, confirming the actress’s involvement.

Tamannaah’s face was obscured in the video. But a woman was spotted sprinting toward a jungle while wearing a red saree and going barefoot. She even lit a lamp in the teaser and came across a board which read, “Warning: Entering the forest after sunset isn’t allowed”.

Sharing the teaser online, Balaji Motion Pictures had written, “Rooted in Indian mythology and mysticism, VVAN – Force of the Forrest unfolds a tale straight from the pages of history and folklore. Delighted to welcome @tamannaahspeaks to this powerful narrative — a force in her own right, ready to command the screen like never before.”

On the work front, Sidharth Malhotra is currently also working on Param Sundari alongside Janhvi Kapoor. He is also part of Raaj Shaandilyaa’s next project and is in talks for Race 4 and another untitled film with director Sharan Sharma under Karan Johar’s banner.
