‘Sidharth Shukla and I were very much connected’, reveals Pankaj Tripathi as he remembers late actor

Pankaj Tripathi remembered late actor Sidharth Shukla when he spoke about actress Shehnaaz Gill. The actor said that Shehnaaz Gill reminds him of Sidharth Shukla. He further opened up about the sweet bond he shared with the late actor. Pankaj Tripathi even mentioned how Sidharth Shukla and he were very much connected, over the years. Sidharth Shukla passed away last year, at the age of 40.

The OMG 2 actor reacted when he was told that Shehnaaz heaped praise on him when she appeared on the chat show. Talking about Gill, Tripathi thanked the actress and recalled his fond memories with Sidharth. Reacting to Shehnaaz praising him,  while speaking with Connect FM Canada, Pankaj said, “Haan woh mujhe betaur abhineta pasand karti hain uske liye aabhar. Thank you. Abhi aapne Shehnaaz bola toh Sidharth ki yaad aa gayi. (Yes, she likes me as an actor. Thank you. Now when you took Shehnaaz’s name, it instantly reminded me of Sidharth.)”

Tripathi added, “Bohot logon ko nahi maalum hai aur mein bataya bhi nahi hun lekin Sidharth bohot aadar karta tha mera. Hum log kaafi connected they (A lot of people do not know this because I haven’t talked about it much but Sidharth used to respect me a lot. We were very much connected).”

Sidharth Shukla breathed his last in Mumbai. The actor suffered a heart attack. He passed away on September 2.

Talking about Sidharth and Shehnaaz Gill’s bond, they met on the show Bigg Boss 13. The duo received immense love from fans. They garnered a massive fan base across them. Shehnaaz rose to fame with Bigg Boss 13. And, she is set to make her Bollywood debut soon. The actress has the movie Kisika Bhai Kisiki Jaan, 100% and a few other movies in her kitty.

On the work front, Pankaj Tripathi has the movie OMG 2 – Oh My God! He has other projects too.
