Snake Spotted At Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartment; 5 Ft-Long Reptile Rescued Safely

A brief moment of panic unfolded at Salman Khan’s residence, Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai’s Bandra area, after a snake was spotted inside the premises on Monday. However, the situation remained under control as a trained rescuer quickly arrived at the location and safely removed the reptile without any injuries or disruption.

According to reports, the snake was found near the shutter section of the building’s car parking area at Galaxy Apartments, where Salman Khan lives with his family. Soon after the sighting, security personnel stationed at the residence alerted authorities.

Police constable Manoj Katte, who was on duty at the building, reportedly contacted local snake rescuer Vicky Dubey after noticing the reptile. Dubey immediately rushed to the spot and began searching for the snake inside the parking area. The rescue operation concluded swiftly and calmly. Videos from the location showed Dubey carefully tracking the reptile before catching it by its tail. He then secured the snake and placed it inside a bag so authorities could safely relocate it.

Officials later identified the snake as a “Dhaman,” also known as the Indian rat snake. The species is non-venomous and commonly appears in urban and semi-urban regions across India.

The manner in which the rescue took place also indicated that the reptile was likely harmless. Experienced rescuers often handle non-venomous snakes directly while ensuring the safety of both the animal and people nearby. Fortunately, no injuries or untoward incidents took place during the rescue operation.
