Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha is also known for her special numbers in films like ‘All Is Well’, ‘OMG- Oh My God!’, ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se’ and others. She was last seen in the recreated version of ‘Mera Naam Chin Chin Chu’ in ‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi’. And now, the actress is all set to another feather to her list of songs as she will soon be seen shaking a leg in Indra Kumar’s ‘Total Dhamaal’. In the multi-starrer film, the actress will be seen swinging her hips to the yesteryear classic ‘Mungda’, along with Ajay Devgn.

Recently, in an interview to Mumbai Mirror, the ‘Akira’ actress said, “Helen aunty’s grace and charm are unmatched and it would be foolish to even try to copy her. Our version is a dance number with spruced-up music, lots of choreography and it’s nothing like the original song.”

“It’s a coincidence that my last performance to an iconic song also happened to be Helen aunty’s. It’s great that we can repackage these iconic songs and present them to today’s generation,” the actress added.

It is to be noted that the song marks a reunion of sorts for the actress and Ajay, who have previously shared screen space in films like ‘Son of Sardar’ and ‘Action Jackson’.

‘Total Dhamaal’ is the third instalment of the ‘Dhamaal’ series. Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit and Boman Irani are the latest additions to the film’s cast, while Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi and Javed Jaffrey have reprised their roles. It will hit the screens on February 22. The film was initially scheduled to release in December but had to be postponed because of post-editing procedures.

The trailer of ‘Total Dhamaal’ released a week ago and it went insanely viral. The trailer has over 46 million views on YouTube as of now. Check out the trailer here:

In the meantime, Sonakshi Sinha has already started shooting for her next film in Punjab’s Amritsar. She will also be seen in the upcoming multi-starrer film ‘Kalank’, one of the most highly anticipated releases of 2019.
