Sonam K Ahuja ready to do ‘Munna Bhai 3’ but on one condition: Find out here

Just a few days before the release of ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’, a report started doing that Sonam K Ahuja may have been signed for the much awaited next instalment of the ‘Munna Bhai’ series. According to a report published in Bollywood Hungama, Vidhu Vinod Chopra is bowled over by Sonam Kapoor’s performance in ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ and therefore has decided to cast her in his next production which will be ‘Munna Bhai 3’.

Also, Bollywood Hungama quoted a source as saying, “Sonam in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga reminds Vinod Chopra of Manisha Koirala in 1942: A Love Story (the 1994 film produced by Vinod Chopra starring Sonam’s father Anil Kapoor). He is completely in favour of casting Sonam in the next Munnabhai film.”

However, Sonam herself refuted all such reports. Talking about the report exclusively to ZoomTV.com, the actress rubbished it but also quipped that she would love to do the third part in the Munna Bhai series but has this one very interesting condition. She further said, “I would do Munna Bhai 3 if I am playing the lead in it. If the movie is called Munni Behen.”

It is to be noted that Sonam is currently busy in promoting her upcoming film ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’. The movie also stars her father Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla and is directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar. The film is slated to release on February 1.

Unfortunately, on Wednesday, a poster of the film was leaked which revealed its story. The story of ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ revolves around same-sex relationships. Sonam will be seen playing a lesbian character and the leading South actress Regina Cassandra will reportedly play her love interest.
