Sonam Kapoor reveals about her diet plan

Better known for her perfect dressing sense, actress Sonam Kapoor is one of the celebrities who is much as an inspiration when it comes to health and fitness. Reportedly, the actress has been facing questions these days about turning a complete vegetarian. According to some media reports, Sonam had given up eating non-veg recently, to which she has clarified that she has been a vegetarian for quite some time now.

Recently, the actress also shared that she has made some changes in her diet plan. Sharing some details about it Sonam said, “I stopped eating meat 4-5 years ago. What has happened now is that I’ve stopped taking milk and milk products. I am lacto-sensitive. A lot of people are lacto-sensitive. But they don’t realise it.”

“I am not saying it is good or not good to be a vegetarian. To each his or her own. In my own home my mother is a strict vegetarian, always has been. And I’ve taken after her, I guess. But my dad is not a vegetarian. But he only eats white meat. So I guess everyone has his or her own dietary rhythm to follow. We can’t make hard and fast rules about it,” added the actress.

On the professional front, Sonam Kapoor is now busy preparing for her next film ‘Veere Di Wedding’ where she shares screen space with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania.
