Sridevi Birth Anniversary: Janhvi Kapoor remembers her mom; Boney Kapoor says, “Wish you were here”

Today is late actress Sridevi’s birth anniversary. The ‘Mom’ actress had passed away on February 24th, 2018. She was one of the most talented actresses in Bollywood. But, it was no secret that family came first for Sridevi. She had two lovely daughters Janhvi and Khushi. On her mother’s birth anniversary, Janhvi shared a lovely picture with her mother.

Janhvi took to her Instagram account to share a picture of herself with mommy Sridevi. In the picture, both mother-daughter are seen smiling as Janhvi hugged her mother. The caption read, “I love you mumma (sic).”

Boney Kapoor also missed his wife dearly on her birth anniversary as he wished she was here to see Janhvi’s new movie ‘Gunjan Saxena’. He took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “Jaan missing you lots every second of the 900 days you left us , but more so today to see the joy on your face for the good reaction to Janu’s work in Gunjan, I wish you were here with us, our joy is incomplete without you. Happy birthday my love my life. #HappyBirthdaySridevi (sic).”

Meanwhile, talking about ‘Gunjan Saxena’, apart from Janhvi Kapoor the movie also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Angad Bedi, Vineet Kumar, Manav Vij and Ayesha Raza in a pivotal role. Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Zee Studios, ‘Gunjan Saxena’ has released on Netflix on August 12.
