The source speaking to Bollywood Hungama said, “Student Of The Year 3 is envisioned as a Class-meets-Euphoria kind of show. Blending the privileged, high-pressure world of young students, complicated friendships, and relationships, similar to Netflix’s Indian series Class, with the bold, provocative, and emotionally turbulent tone of Euphoria. Viewers will be surprised by the conflicts and relationships presented. And the overall genre will appeal to a broader, youth-driven audience across markets.”

About The Project

The series is expected to release this year on JioHotstar. There were initial reports suggesting the title might be Student Of The Year 3 – After The Dark. However, the source clarified that the final title is still uncertain and will be confirmed upon the official announcement.

Directed by Reema Maya, Student Of The Year 3 will feature Shanaya Kapoor in a double role. The franchise’s first instalment launched Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, and Sidharth Malhotra. The second starred Tiger Shroff and introduced Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria. Notably, Alia Bhatt appeared in a song in the second film. This upcoming series promises a bold new direction for the franchise, aiming to attract a more mature and diverse audience.
