Kaveri disappointed on being dragged in parents Shekhar Kapur-Suchitra Krishnamoorthi’s legal battle

Off late Shekhar Kapur‘s ex-wife, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi filing a case on him over property dispute has been making headlines. As per the latest reports, Suchitra filed a case against Shekhar over a property that allegedly belongs to their daughter Kaveri.

Now Kaveri has expressed displeasure over her name being dragged in this legal battle between her parents. Kaveri also clarified that she shares a great relationship with her father and has got nothing to do with any case.

The property which has been a bone of contention between the couple was apparently on the name of their daughter, Kaveri Kapur, but currently, it is being used by another party i.e Kabir Bedi.

Now giving a clarification on the reports of her mother filing a case in the family court against her father, Kaveri said, “Over the years I have stayed away from commenting on any and every conversation pertaining to my parents and their dealings with each other. But yesterday a media report carried my name in the context of a case that is between my mother and my father. I would like to set the record straight, that I have a very strong and loving relationship with my father, Mr. Shekhar Kapur. I am disappointed that my name was dragged in this manner. As a 19-years-old, I know I can speak for myself. I have nothing to do with this case or any case between my parents.”

Suchitra had claimed that Kabir Bedi is living in Shekhar’s flat illegally but the latter stated that he was using the flat legally as per agreement.
