Sudhaa Chandran REACTS To Being Trolled Over Emotional Viral Jagran Video; States, “I Am Not Here To Justify”

Sudhaa Chandran has emphasised that devotion is a deeply personal matter, and she does not judge or criticise anyone’s spiritual expressions. Recently, videos from a religious gathering (jagran) went viral, showing her in an emotional trance that left many viewers surprised. The actress has now addressed the reactions she received, revealing that she was subjected to trolling after the videos surfaced, with some users dismissing her spiritual experience as mere drama. However, Sudhaa firmly stated that she has no intention of justifying herself to anyone.

Sudhaa Chandra BREAKS SILENCE On Viral Jagran Video

In an interview with Zoom, Sudhaa discussed her experience and the social media backlash. She mentioned that many people dismissed her spiritual trance as “fake” and “drama,” but she remains unfazed. “I am not here to justify. I have my perception towards life. I have certain spiritual connections that I respect. I don’t need to explain myself to anyone. The trolls can say what they want — good for them. I wish them happiness,” she said.

She further added, “What about the millions of people who connect with and resonate with my experience? That’s what matters to me.” Sudhaa stressed that she is answerable to no one and intends to continue living her life with dignity, respect, and divine blessings.

The actress, known for her role in Naagin, reflected on her journey. She said, “I’ve never thought about what people will say. Even after my accident, people said I was foolish for the activities I pursued. But when they become a success story, everyone talks about them.”

What Happened At The Jagran?

Earlier this week, several videos of Sudhaa from the Jagran surfaced on social media. In the clips, she appeared to be in a trance-like state, exhibiting intense emotions during the devotional event. Attendees were seen trying to stop her, but she responded by biting some of them. In the videos, Sudhaa was seen jumping around the hall, seemingly overwhelmed and lost in spiritual ecstasy. She was dressed in a red and white saree, with a headband across her forehead that read “Jai Mata Di.” Her behaviour suggested she was deeply possessed by her devotion during the bhajan.

Sudhaa gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of the cunning Yamini Raheja in the first two seasons of Naagin. She has also appeared in popular shows like Yeh Hain Mohabbatein, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Mata Ki Chowki, and Kalyug Mein Bhakti Ki Shakti, among others.
