Social media personality ‘The Rebel Kid’ Apoorva Mukhija and Sufi Motiwala became friends while participating on the Amazon Prime Video reality show, The Traitors. Post that, the duo were even seen together on videos posted on Mukhija’s YouTube channel. However, netizens were quick to notice that Sufi did not include Apoorva or mention her in any of his recent social media postings, given that both were among a select few content creators invited abroad for a Wednesday 2 event.

A little over 12 hours ago – in the midst of sharing pictures from the Wednesday 2 event, Sufi Motiwala took to his Instagram Stories and addressed his bond with The Rebel Kid given the many inquires he’s been getting. He began his post by saying simply saying, “No more lies,” before adding, “I’ve received a lot of texts saying that I’ve taken clout from Apoorva and I’ve left her. I’ve literally never collaborated on a reel with her and have been on her YouTube twice, both of which were her content pieces entirely.”

He continued, “So no I’m not sorry I didn’t use her for clout (incase u forgot we were on the same show without knowing each other I don’t need her clout) I wanted to be friends with Apoorva not the rebel kid when there was no accountability constantly for how I was being treated I distanced myself. I even requested her to ask her audience to calm down because they’ve been abusing me for no reason.”

He added, “Sadly this person who called me her best friend has no concern for that and or the fact that maybe I’m hurt. THAT is why I’m not friends with her anymore. Keep it cute keep it moving.” He signed off with, “Idc about anything u think I’m a horrible person ok. But I have worked my a** off to build myself to where I am and I won’t let a bunch of children discredit that by spreading misinformation.” For the unversed, In fact, Sufi has even unfollowed Apoorva on Instagram.

The Rebel Kid is still to speak about this matter and reply to Sufi’s story.

Sufi-Apoorva Friendship

Apoorva Mukhija and Sufi Motiwala shared a bond during their stint on The Traitors and became close friends. Sufi – who made a name for himself on social media by posting video commenting on celebrities’ fashion choices, had previously supported Apoorva after co-contestant, Sudhanshu Pandey, criticised her for using abusive language and ill behaviour on the show. Even during the controversy of India’s Got Latent, Sufi stood was in Apoorva despite her receiving heavy backlash from the public.
