Suniel Shetty on Aryan Khan’s detention by NCB in drugs probe: Let’s give that child a breather

Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty has reacted to the raid conducted by NCB. The NCB busted an alleged rave party that was happening on a cruise liner, off the coast of Mumbai. According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan‘s son Aryan Khan is among 10 people who were detained by the NCB during the raid. Suniel Shetty did not take names but responded to the news that has been hitting headlines since late hours on Saturday, October 2.

Speaking with ANI, Suniel Shetty asked everyone to give the child a ‘breather’. He stressed on the fact that the investigation is underway.

He said, “When a raid is conducted at a place, many people are taken into custody. We assume that a particular boy must have consumed it (drugs). The process is on. Let’s give that child a breather. Let real reports come out.

For the unversed, it was on Saturday evening that Aryan Khan was detained by the Narcotics Control Bureau. Reportedly, he was partying on the cruise liner. As per the reports, the NCB sleuths booked tickets of the cruise party and acted on a tip-off. The reports mentioned that the NCB had boarded on the cruise liner as guests. After the ship was ordered to return to bay and eight passengers were detained.

As per the reports, Aryan Khan is being questioned by the NCB. It was reported that the star kid’s WhatsApp chats were being examined by the agency officials. He reportedly could be charged under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985.

The NCB has been investigating the alleged drugs nexus in the city for the past year. Several Bollywood celebrities were questioned in the drugs case, after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The NCB was probing the alleged drug angle in the actor’s death case.
