Sunny Deol was seen meeting his sisters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol, at a special screening of his film Border 2 in Mumbai on Sunday. Since the passing of veteran actor Dharmendra, the Deol family has been under intense media scrutiny, with rumours suggesting a rift between Hema Malini’s daughters and Dharmendra’s sons from his first marriage—Sunny and Bobby Deol. However, Sunny appeared to put all such speculation to rest, as he was spotted happily posing with Esha and Ahana at the screening.
Sunny Deol Poses With Esha, Ahana Deol At Border 2 Screening
Several videos from the event have surfaced on social media, showing Esha and Ahana arriving on either side of Sunny, with the trio sharing warm moments. Sunny was seen resting his hands on his sister’s shoulders, exuding a familial bond.
Esha kept it casual in a black-and-white checkered shirt and jeans. Sunny opted for an off-white shirt paired with matching trousers and a black baseball cap. Ahana was dressed in a sky-blue shirt and jeans. The siblings paused for photos, smiling and thanking the paparazzi before heading inside. It was followed by Sunny guiding his sisters towards the screening venue.
This was the first time Sunny was seen publicly with his sisters since Dharmendra’s death in November last year. Rumours of a family rift had circulated last year after two separate prayer meetings were held in Dharmendra’s memory—one organised by Sunny Deol and the other by Hema Malini. Dharmendra passed away on November 24 at his Mumbai residence at the age of 89.
