Sushant Singh Rajput’s Sister Shweta Singh Kirti Shares Emotional Video On Death Anniversary

On this day, Shweta took to Instagram to post a touching video, expressing how much she misses her ‘bhai’. In her heartfelt message, she highlighted Sushant’s values—his love for life, curiosity for learning, and innocent, childlike nature. She reminded everyone that Sushant’s spirit continues to live on in those who uphold the same virtues. She wrote, “Today is Bhai’s 5th Death Anniversary. A lot has happened since his passing on 14th June 2020. Now, CBI has submitted a report to the court, and we are in the process of retrieving it. But what I want to say today is no matter what happens, don’t lose heart and don’t lose faith in God or in goodness.”

Shweta also appealed to her followers not to use Sushant’s name to spread negativity, hate, or division. She emphasised, “Bhai hasn’t gone anywhere, believe me… he is in you, in me, in all of us. Every time we love with all our heart, every time we have childlike innocence towards life, every time we are eager to learn more, we are keeping his spirit alive. Never use Bhai’s name to spread negativity… he wouldn’t like that. He didn’t stand for that. Look how many hearts and minds he touched and influenced… Let his legacy continue… You are the burning candle that lights other candles to carry forward his legacy. The legacy of any great person always grows after they are gone… Do you know why? Because the magnetism of their personality sows seeds and influences generations to come.”

She also shared an update on the legal developments concerning her brother’s death, revealing that the CBI has submitted its report to the court, and the family is currently working to retrieve it. Despite the prolonged wait, she urged everyone to hold onto faith and goodness. Alongside the video, Shweta posted a series of throwback photos capturing precious memories of Sushant—including one with their father and another of her taking a selfie with him. She has remained a dedicated advocate for justice.

In March 2024, she publicly appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to expedite the CBI’s investigation, hoping to bring closure to what she described as “howling hearts.” While the official cause of his death remains shrouded in speculation and ongoing legal proceedings, his memory endures through heartfelt tributes and his family’s pursuit of justice, especially through Shweta. As another year passes without Sushant, his fans and family continue to honour his memory, not just as an exceptional actor, but as a soul who inspired millions through his intelligence, kindness, and spirit.
