Sushant Singh Rajput’s cousin and BJP MLA Neeraj Kumar Singh Bablu has demanded that Mumbai police should directly question Karan Johar in connection with the late actor’s suicide case.

On Tuesday, CEO of Karan’s Dharma Productions, Apoorva Mehta, was questioned by Mumbai Police. As per a report in India Today, Neeraj has said that instead of questioning Apoorva, Mumbai police should directly interrogate Karan.

According to a report in India Today, Sushant’s cousin Neeraj said, “Anyone’s name coming up in the case should be questioned by the Mumbai Police. Rather than questioning the CEO of Dharma Productions, Mumbai police should directly question Karan Johar”

The late actor’s cousin also alleged that Mumbai police is questioning Bollywood celebs for mere formality. “It appears Mumbai Police is summoning film personalities just for formality. We are still waiting to know what the Mumbai police has achieved by questioning Bollywood personalities,” Neeraj added.

So far Mumbai Police has questioned filmmakers like Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Aditya Chopra, Mahesh Bhatt and Shekhar Kapur in connection with Sushant’s suicide case. Reportedly Karan will also be summoned by the Mumbai police to record his statement later this week.

Sushant’s father has filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty in Patna. And the actress has filed a petition in Supreme Court seeking transfer of the case to Mumbai.
