Tamannaah Bhatia's official confirmation on dating Vijay Varma has taken the nation by storm, and now she is all praise for him as she feels he is finally getting his due.

In an interview with Film Companion, Tamannaah spoke about how she and Vijay have a mutual respect for each other’s work too. She said, “Both of us, as actors and as people, and that is one thing we got along on, when someone just lets you be, without trying to tweak anything which is not in your comfort. If I would do it a certain way, he would let me shine, he would let me do what I want to do. He would be like, ‘ok, let me take a tip or two’, and I do the same for him. When there are two fully-evolved people, I don’t think you need to direct them. We both live our lives, we don’t need to tell each other what to do. I feel that respect is so unspoken.”

The actress even went to rave about his ‘boyfriend’ and how he is finally getting his due. She insisted, “He is brilliant at what he does. He is someone I really look up to as an actor and his journey as an actor for me is literally like should be really spoken about and celebrated. His journey is incredible. He is finally receiving the accolades he deserves.” Vijay got high appreciation for his stint opposite Alia Bhatt in Darlings last year. This year too, he gave another impressive performance in Dahaad recently, alongside Sonakshi Sinha.

The rumours of the couple dating started after they were spotted at a New Year’s party, allegedly kissing. Since then, the two have usually dodged questions about each other. They have often been spotted in the city together at outings but they never confirmed anything. Now, Tamannaah has finally made it official and it all started during Lust Stories 2.
