The shooting of ‘Fukrey 2’ kick-starts, Ali Fazal shares the news on Twitter

It’s been three years since one of the best coming of age comedy films, ‘Fukrey’, came out, and it still holds a special place in the hearts of fans. And here’s a good news for them, coming straight from Delhi. The shoot for the sequel titled ‘Fukrey 2’ has already started in the capital city on Wednesday. One of the lead stars from the movie Ali Fazal has even shared this good news on his social networking site.

He took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “Getting ready to make the switch. Very close very close. Am joining soon @RichaChadha_ @varunsharma90 @PulkitSamrat.” [sic] With this news Ali has even shared a picture of the film’s clapboard and the script in it.

A few days ago, actor Varun Sharma who is fondly remembered by his character Choocha had also shared a picture as he took a flight to Delhi writing, “Off to Delhi!!!! #Fukrey2 ??✌✌.” [sic]

Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, ‘Fukrey 2’ will see actors Pulkit Samrat, Ali Fazal, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh and Richa Chadha reprising their characters from the part one with a few new additions as well.
