‘The Sky Is Pink’ Mid-Ticket Review: Farhan Akhtar-Priyanka Chopra’s nuanced performances are laced with humour and emotions
Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar are making an onscreen comeback as lovers for Shonali Bose’s ‘The Sky Is Pink’. The film also stars young actors like Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf in pivotal roles. As the movie is set to hit theatres this Friday, we got a chance to review to the film a couple of days prior as in today. Here’s how the film’s first half looks like.
‘The Sky Is Pink’ is a perfect blend of humour and emotions. Farhan Akhtar and Priyanka Chopra come up with some beautiful performances which make you realise the importance of parents in your life to the core. Their romantic moments onscreen are also something that’s flawless and seems to come naturally for a couple which is madly in love.
Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf have pretty less to do, and it seems they might have a lot more to do in the second half. The film’s beautiful locales of suburban London and outer Delhi have been shown off beautifully.
