Arjun Rampal is a supremely talented actor but he has also always been a doting father. interestingly his recent tryst with the series ‘London Files’ which he headlines, has in ways changed his perspective towards parenting

Says Arjun, “For me to go through the gamut of emotions as Om Singh was not easy but I am very happy I did because this show talks about so many issues. Issues people have with parenting their children today, letting work take the front seat and keeping one’s personal life on the side.” Talking about the show and its universal appeal he adds, “London Files has a very global appeal, an international approach to it. I don’t think we have seen many shows like that, which cover all these dimensions. It will resonate with my generation, and also with the Gen Z or millennials.”

Arjun plays the character of Detective Om Singh who has also had a personal impact on the star and “a lot more” than he expected. Playing the flawed but real character stayed with him long after its filming and helped him to look at situations around him in an objective manner.

Arjun concludes, “When you play a detective, you automatically become a skeptic. It changes your way of seeing things and your perspective towards life. You detach, research and view things objectively rather than emotionally. Sometimes it can be helpful in real life too”.
