Aamir Khan's 'Nayi Soch'

If you think it is only the movies that are made on a whooping budget, then you might be wrong here. These days even the advertisements are made on a budget that surpass the budget of many small-scale films.

We know how the Khans of Bollywood are known to rake in all the moolah when it comes to their films’ collection and they are probably used to talking nothing below hundreds of crore. This is the reason that when Aamir Khan recently shot for Star Plus’ ‘Nayi Soch’ campaign, for women empowerment, he just couldn’t settle for a lesser amount when it came to marketing the campaign. The campaign is said to have cost almost Rs 100 crore, spent by the channel. (Also Read: Did Aamir Khan reject Sanjay Dutt’s biopic as he was offered to play his father?)

According to reports, the channel went with Aamir’s idea of marketing and spent a lot of money on hoardings across India, big cities and small towns and promos across the network, along with print and digital ads.

And oh-boy, his plan worked and how! The ad has already become a huge hit across the country.

Aamir’s last release ‘Dangal’ earned almost Rs 400 crore at the box office and he will next be seen in an extended cameo in ‘Secret Superstar.’ The actor will also soon start shooting for his next film ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ along with Amitabh Bachchan.
