Twitter explodes in furore as Deepika Padukone’s alleged drug-related chat surfaces

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case is taking a new turn with every passing day. After Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), names of several A-listers from Bollywood surfaced in the case. And everything escalated quite quickly when Deepika Padukone’s alleged drug chat with her manager Karishma Prakash surfaced.

The emergence of Deepika’s name has left the Twitterati furious as no one can still digest the fact that the leggy beauty too is allegedly involved in this drug probe.

According to Times Now report, the alleged WhatsApp chat from October 2017 between Deepika and her manager Karishma indicates that they were discussing drugs like Hash and weed. While the latest updates state that NCB has already summoned Karishma, they will be soon serving the summon to the leggy beauty as well.

Twitterati is furious over the fact that after Sushant’s death, Deepika had come forward and spoken about the importance of mental health. And now that her name has surfaced in the drug probe, the netizens wasted no time in bashing the ‘Padmaavat’ actress.

One of the users slamming the ‘Piku’ actress wrote, “Deepika Padukone, you’re SO BADLY EXPOSED that there’s no coming back from here. You obviously like HASH & not WEED to sustain this level of Madness, Tackle a Crazy Husband & also continue the Facade of the Bichari DEPRESSED “Damsel in Distress” for running a business(sic).”

Whereas, another user wrote, “Sorry Deepika! Sorry, Babu, We Found A Druggie Behind Ur Beautiful Anti-Nationalist Face(sic).”
