Uri's Vicky Kaushal To Make A Cameo In Dhurandhar 2

Sources indicate that Vicky Kaushal is set to make an extended cameo appearance in Dhurandhar 2, reprising his role as Major Vihaan Shergill from Uri. Meanwhile, Akshaye Khanna’s role will be limited to a few flashback scenes in the sequel. Recent reports clarified that, contrary to earlier rumours, Akshaye Khanna will not reprise his role as Rehman Dakait in Dhurandhar 2. He will only appear in select flashback sequences. While this news may disappoint some fans, there are still some exciting updates for them.

Uri’s Vicky Kaushal To Make A Cameo In Dhurandhar 2?

Vicky Kaushal has joined the sequel, primarily set in Pakistan. An insider revealed to Mid-Day, “Aditya has been very secretive about the star power he’s adding to Dhurandhar 2. The director, who aims to expand the Dhurandhar universe, has cleverly incorporated a storyline from Uri, despite the difference in timelines. Vicky’s character, from the 2016 war drama, is introduced in this film, though it’s unclear if he and Ranveer’s characters will cross paths. His cameo will include a few action sequences.”

What makes Vicky’s extended appearance even more exciting is that he will reprise his role as Major Vihaan Shergill from Aditya Dhar’s Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019). He shot his scenes last year before the release of the first Dhurandhar film. The insider added, “Vicky is one of Aditya’s favorite actors, and the director was eager to craft sequences that could potentially lay the groundwork for a future spin-off.”

Madhavan, and Rakesh Bedi. It is set to release on March 19, coinciding with the release of Yash’s Toxic: A Fairytale for GrownUps.
