Veteran filmmaker David Dhawan is back in action with his upcoming romantic comedy, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. Starring Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Pooja Hegde in lead roles, the much-awaited film has a fresh release date. Originally scheduled for April 2026, the movie will now arrive in theatres on June 5, 2026.

Announcing the new date, the makers shared a quirky post on Instagram that read, “Drama bhi hona hai, comedy bhi — kyunki jab ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ in cinemas on 5th June 2026.”
Recently, Varun and Pooja gave fans a glimpse of their off-screen chemistry in a hilarious behind-the-scenes video. The clip begins with Pooja applying something to her eyes and joking, “Varun is making me cry.” When Varun asks the makeup artist about their technique, Pooja teasingly responds, “It’s a secret. We can’t tell you.”
