Varun Dhawan To QUIT No Entry 2 Due To Date Issues

Varun Dhawan has reportedly exited Anees Bazmee’s No Entry 2, following Boney Kapoor’s confirmation of Diljit Dosanjh’s departure from the project. The film was initially set to star Varun, Diljit, and Arjun Kapoor, with plans for them to play triple roles. However, recent developments indicate that the cast will undergo a reshuffle. After Diljit left the film due to date conflicts, Varun is also said to have backed out, mainly because of scheduling issues. The makers are now reportedly searching for two new actors to join Arjun Kapoor.

Varun Dhawan To QUIT No Entry 2 Due To Date Issues

The second instalment of No Entry was initially reported to feature Diljit, Varun, and Diljit in triple roles. While there were rumours that Diljit left over creative differences, Boney Kapoor cited date clashes as the primary reason. Now, there are circulating rumours about Varun’s exit as well.

A source close to the production told Mid-Day, “Varun was very excited about No Entry 2. However, the change in dates after Diljit’s exit made things a bit complicated.” According to the report, Varun’s dates are now booked for Bhediya 2, which has led to the cast adjustments.

“Now Varun’s schedule is set for Bhediya 2. We’re working on new arrangements. Arjun Kapoor is still very much involved,” the source added. Despite these developments, the makers have not officially confirmed Varun’s exit.

Boney On Diljit’s Exit

Regarding Diljit’s departure, Boney Kapoor earlier confirmed in an interview that the actor had exited amicably due to scheduling conflicts. He stated, “Yes, we have parted in good spirits as the dates were not aligning with our requirements. Hopefully, we will soon do a Punjabi film together,” he told NDTV.

On the work front, both Varun and Diljit are set to appear in JP Dutta’s Border 2, alongside Sunny Deol and Ahan Shetty.
