Rahat Indori Coronavirus positive

Veteran lyricist and Urdu language poet, Rahat Indori has tested positive for Coronavirus. He has been admitted to a hospital in Indore post his diagnosis. Rahat has penned lyrics for films like ‘Meenaxi’, ‘Mission Kashmir’ and ‘Ishq’ to name a few.

The lyricist took to his Twitter handle to share his health update. “My corona test was done yesterday after the initial symptoms of Covid appeared. The test result is positive. I have been admitted to Aurobindo Hospital, pray that I should defeat this disease as soon as possible.”

Further urging his fans and followers to not call him or his family members as he will keep them updated about his health via Twitter and Facebook.

Madhya Pradesh’s CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan extended speedy recovery message to Rahat. Replying to him, Rahat thanked him and said he would need everyone’s prayers to get well soon.

Rahat has penned songs like ‘Yeh Rishta’ from ‘Meenaxi: A Tale Of Three Cities’, ‘Neend Churayee Meri Kisne O Sanam Tune’ from  ‘Ishq’, ‘Bumbro’ from ‘Mission Kashmir’, ‘Chori Chori Jab Nazrein Mili’ from ‘Kareeb’ to name a few.

Rahat’s poem ”Bulati Hai Magar Jaane Ka Nahi’ went viral during Valentine’s week this year and it gave rise to several memes on social media.
