Vidyut Jammwal has been someone who maintains his own and doesn’t meddle into other people’s business. However, what Disney+Hotstar has done now is something that is beyond comprehension and Vidyut is mighty unhappy about the same. The actor took to his Twitter account to share his displeasure over the biased nature of the announcement to be done by the OTT platform this evening.

Vidyut took to his social media page and slammed the OTT platform for being biased in their announcement. Have a look at what he wrote:

Vidyut’s tweet read, “A BIG announcement for sure!! 7 films scheduled for release but only 5 are deemed worthy of representation. 2 films, receive no invitation or intimation. It’s a long road ahead. THE CYCLE CONTINUES (sic).

By the cycle continues, he surely means the ongoing nepotism debate that’s going on in the country nowadays after the suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput.

For all those who’re unaware,  Disney+Hotstar is announcing 7 films today. They are:

  • Akshay Kumar’s #LaxmmiBomb
  • Ajay Devgn’s #BhujThePrideOfIndia
  • Abhishek Bachchan’s #TheBigBull
  • Alia Bhatt’s #Sadak2
  • Vidyut Jammwal’s #KhudaHaafiz
  • Kunal Kemmu’s #Lootcase!

To add to it, they already have announced, Sushant Singh Rajput’s ‘DilBechara’.

Vidyut got support from ace filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri. He took to his Twitter to revert to Vidyut the real reason why he was left out. Have a look:

Vivek wrote, “Because you are an outsider. Simple. (sic).

Kangana Ranaut also shared a message via her official fan page account. She wrote, “Such a shame that ill treatment of outsiders continues even in territories where everyone is new and an outsider (sic).” Have a look:

Genelia D’Souza too slammed the OTT platform and stood strong by the side of her ‘Force’ co-star Vidyut. Here’s what she had to say:

Genelia went on to further write, “More power to you….. @VidyutJammwal (sic).

While Vidyut has raised his voice, Kunal Kemmu, who’s the lead star for the other film which has been left out, has kept mum till now. Will he also be speaking up some time and raise his displeasure? Let’s wait and watch.

Vidyut, we are we with you. Kudos for standing up and raising your voice.
