Actor Viineet Kumar Siingh has safely arrived at Mumbai airport after being stranded at Dubai for several hours due to the airspace closure caused by escalating Middle East tensions. He updated his fans through two Instagram Stories to inform them of his whereabouts.

Viineet Kumar Siingh Lands In Mumbai After Being Stranded At Dubai Airport

On Monday night, Viineet shared a story that read, “I am at Dubai Airport. 9.23pm Dubai Time. Immigration done. Waiting at the gate for my flight (airplane emoji). Fingers crossed.”

The next morning, he posted another update, saying, “Landed (airplane emoji). Mumbai (red heart emoji).”

After reaching Mumbai, Viineet spoke to News 18, saying, “We were clueless around 10 pm. Then we got the news that boarding had started. Flight takeoff [was] a little late but everything was fine. Emirates Airlines and Dubai airport staff helped everyone.”

His scheduled departure from Dubai was at 9:40 pm on Monday. He also expressed his gratitude to the airline staff, stating, “Thanks to the airline’s staff for handling the situation delicately.”

About the Middle East Airport Closure

On Monday, the Qatari airspace was temporarily shut down amid rising threats, following Iran’s launch of at least six missiles targeting US bases in Qatar. Officials described this airspace closure as a precautionary and temporary measure. Bahrain and Kuwait also temporarily closed their airspaces.

Viineet Kumar Singh, known for his roles in Mukkabaaz and Chhaava, was stranded at Dubai airport due to the unexpected closure of Middle East airspace amid rising tensions.
