Vijay Deverakonda Protects Rashmika Mandanna Amid Mob Attack During Temple Visit; ViRosh Seek Divine Blessings On One Month Anniversary- Watch

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda celebrated their one-month anniversary on March 26 in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, while filming for their movie Ranabaali. The couple was warmly welcomed on set with a traditional harathi (aarti) and visited a temple before filming. During their temple visit, Vijay was seen shielding Rashmika from a large crowd, holding her close as they were nearly mobbed.

A video from an Anantapur Instagram page shows Vijay in a simple cream kurta and Rashmika in a blue suit set, both smiling and waving to fans, who presented them with flowers. Security personnel kept fans at bay as the couple received blessings from priests, with Vijay holding Rashmika protectively as they exited the Hanuman temple.

Following the temple visit, Rashmika and Vijay proceeded to the Ranabaali set, appearing undisturbed despite the crowd. They were greeted with a traditional harathi and kumkum blessings. A candid moment was captured as Rashmika looked up at Vijay and smiled.

About Ranabaali

Ranabaali is a historical action-drama directed by Rahul Sankrityan. It is set between 1854 and 1878, depicting resistance against colonial rule and the Great Indian Famine. Vijay plays the lead role, while Rashmika portrays his wife, Jayamma. Arnold Vosloo features as the antagonist. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and T-Series, set for release on September 11.

Rashmika-Vijay’s Upcoming Projects

This marks the third collaboration between Vijay and Rashmika. Their previous collaborations were Geetha Govindam (2018) and Dear Comrade (2019), and their first after marriage. Rashmika also has Cocktail 2 (Hindi) and Mysaa (Telugu) lined up, while Vijay’s upcoming project is Rowdy Janardhana in Telugu. The couple got engaged in October last year and tied the knot in Udaipur in February this year.
