On February 24, the couple hosted their sangeet, with performances from friends and family that brought tears to their eyes. Sharing some cherished moments from the evening, Vijay described it as a night full of fun and emotion. “The evening was spent laughing till we cried, dancing until our feet hurt, and swallowing emotions during heartfelt speeches and surprises that made our eyes leak,” he wrote.

He also shared a video of himself lifting Rashmika during a romantic dance on the floor. Another photo shows Rashmika blowing kisses to her family as Vijay watches on with a smile. From intimate, romantic moments to emotional family exchanges, the couple truly had the time of their lives. Vijay called his sangeet a “big happy party filled with beautiful people.”

Rashmika donned an ivory lehenga adorned with heavy embroidery, while Vijay looked regal in a royal blue sherwani with gold embroidery. He also made a striking entry wearing a blue cape. For their sangeet outfits, the couple wore ensembles designed by Falguni Shane Peacock. Rashmika paid tribute to their designer by writing, “@falgunishanepeacock did witchcraft with the clothes, they brought out the dragons 😉 I was in it till 4 am.”

Their three-day wedding festivities began with the sangeet, followed by haldi and mehndi ceremonies on February 25, culminating in the wedding on February 26 at ITC Mementos in Udaipur. The newlyweds will host a star-studded reception in Hyderabad on March 4. This invite-only event is expected to be attended by actors, politicians, and other prominent personalities.
