Speaking about stepping away from dark, emotionally heavy characters, the actor admitted he was “tired” of playing such roles. When asked how he feels to come back to romantic roles after a while, Vikrant Massey said, “It really feels good, honestly. Main khud thak gaya tha itne intense roles karke. But intensity ismein bhi hai. Genre alag hai definitely. Sector 36 nahi hai, jo humne saath milkar banayi thi. Yahan sab zinda hain, koi kisi ko maar nahi raha hai. Like Rishi Babu said, yahan koi kisi ko maar nahi raha, but intensity ismein bhi hai. And I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was actually a good break from all the intense roles I was doing. So yes, you’re right.”
