Here’s why Ranbir Kapoor and his parents were missing during Krishna Raj Kapoor’s last rites

Krishna Raj Kapoor, the senior most member of the Kapoor Khandaan passed away yesterday due to cardiac arrest. As soon as the news of her death broke out yesterday, condolences started pouring in from the entire B-town.

The cremation took place at Chembur Electric crematorium in Mumbai, and several Bollywood stars paid their last respect to the matriarch of the Kapoor family. However, Krishna’s son Rishi Kapoor, his wife Neetu Singh and grandson Ranbir Kapoor were nowhere to be seen during the funeral ceremony. Their absence must have made many people curious.

However, the real reason behind their absence is that Rishi is currently in America for medical treatment. The actor was accompanied by son Ranbir and wife Neetu. Rishi had posted this update on his Twitter handle by writing, “Hello all! I am taking a short leave of absence from work to go to America for some medical treatment. I urge my well wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. It’s been 45 years “plus”of wear and tear at the movies. With your love and good wishes,I will be back soon!”
