World Mental Health Day is celebrated on October 10 and prior to this day, the week is called the World Mental Health Week. On this occasion actor Aamir Khan took to his social media profile to create awareness about Mental Health across the world. He wrote that emotional hygiene is just as important as physical hygiene. He advises to share difficult emotions and being aware of them. He also wrote about depression saying that it can happen to anyone and help should be taken in time as it works.

Bollywood celebrities have always taken their foot forward when it comes to creating awareness about Mental Health in the world. Actresses like Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt have spoken about their experience of mental health issues and how they dealt with them. They have tried to wipe off the tag of a taboo that is attached to it.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Aamir Khan will be seen next in ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ which is a Hindi remake of the Tom Hanks starrer ‘Forrest Gump’. Kareena Kapoor will be starring alongside Aamir in the movie. Apart from that Aamir Khan will also be seen in Subhash Kapoor directorial ‘Mogal’ which is a biopic on T-series founder Gulshan Kumar.
