Anushka Sharma’s ‘Pari’ has a low opening at the box office

On the festive occasion of Holi, Anushka Sharma’s ‘Pari’ hit the big screens. The movie which is high on horror and gore started off on a low note at the box office.

It did a business of Rs 4 crore nett on its first day. The movie’s business started off on a poor note but picked up slightly in the afternoon as Holi festivities got over. (Also Read: Pari movie review: A bloodied, gory affair that’s sure to chill you)

Even though the business is low, it’s still better than her earlier flick ‘Phillauri’ which did a business of Rs 3.86 crore nett.

Considering the genre of the movie, it’s tough to gain high numbers so let’s see how the collection pans out over the weekend.
