‘Baahubali’ rakes in Rs 60 crore on its opening day

The mega film ‘Baahubali’ is coming true to it’s name, the SS Rajamouli’s grandest film had high expectation from it’s fans, and seems like it has fulfilled those expectations. The movie has shattered records by collecting around Rs 60 crore on its opening day itself, this number is taking into account all the versions.

Down South the theater occupancy was the highest, around 95 to 100%. whereas in other regions it was around 55 %.
The Hindi version has collected around Rs. 5.15 crores on the first day. In United States the movie is a rage, it has made much more than what Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’ had made.

‘Baahubali’ stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Tamannah Bhatia in leading roles. Now it remains to be seen if the movie can maintain it’s record further and cross the 100 crore mark in a few days.
