‘Bharat’ is definitely one of the biggest releases of this summer. The Eid release, which is headlined by superstar Salman Khan, has been the talk of town since the past many months. Now that the film has finally hit theatres, it’s been getting a humongous response from the masses. The box-office collections speak volumes of the film’s undying popularity.

Trade expert Taran Adarsh took to social media to share the figures. He wrote, “#Salmania grips the nation… #Bharat storms the BO… Proves *yet again* Salman Khan is the biggest crowd puller… #Bharat opens much bigger than Salman – Ali Abbas Zafar’s #TigerZindaHai [₹ 34.10 cr] and #Sultan [₹ 36.54 cr]… Wed ₹ 42.30 cr. India biz. (sic).

With Rs 42.30 cr on Day 1, the film is sure to become one of the biggest hits of the year. Taran went on to also write about the film, “#Bharat hits the ball out of the park on Day 1…⭐️ Emerges Salman’s biggest #Eid opener, surpassing *Day 1* biz of #Sultan [₹ 36.54 cr].⭐️ Emerges Salman’s *biggest opener ever*, surpassing *Day 1* biz of #PremRatanDhanPayo [₹ 40.35 cr] (sic).

The film had a tough competition because of the India vs South Africa match at the ongoing Cricket World Cup. The Men In Blue won the match there and Salman won at the ticket windows as well. The film turned out to be massive in spite of the pull of the cricket world cup. Taran went on to further write about the same, “#Bharat sets the BO on ???… East, West, North, South… Multiplexes, single screens… Metros, non-metros… Day 1 biz was mind boggling across the board, despite tough opposition from the crucial and much-hyped cricket match [#IndvSA #CWC19] (sic).

With such a hue bumper opening at the ticket windows, the film is sure to grow bigger and bigger by each passing day.

Considering today and tomorrow are working days, it’s assumed that the evening shows will be jam packed. Then with the weekend taking over, Salman Khan’s ‘Bharat’ is sure to end up with a huge opening weekend collection.
