Actor Vineet Kumar Singh’s upcoming film is Match Fixing, where he plays the role of an Indian Army officer. Before the film’s release, Vineet has an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, where he openly discusses his personal and professional life. Vineet shares how the journey to becoming an actor was very challenging for him, but he never gave up.
There was a time when he almost gave up and returned home, but his siblings were very supportive. Vineet, being an outsider with no connections in the film industry, also shares his thoughts on nepotism. He says, “I was struggling even when Alia Bhatt was sitting in Mahesh Bhatt’s lap, and I am still struggling today.”
He also praises the talent of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. Vineet shares his experience of working with Anurag Kashyap and reacts to the director’s statement about leaving Mumbai in 2025 due to Bollywood’s profit-driven focus. After films like Gangs of Wasseypur, Mukkabaaz, and Ugly, Vineet had hoped his career would improve, but it didn’t happen. Vineet also reveals his experience of meeting Shah Rukh Khan with host Avinash Pal and praises the King Khan of Bollywood. Vineet mentions that his upcoming projects include Chhaava with Vicky Kaushal, Jaat with Sunny Deol, and Superboys of Malegaon, directed by Reema Kagti.
