Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh‘s two-day marriage festivities are now officially over. The ‘Bajirao Mastani’ wedding was done as per the South Indian (Konkani) and North Indian (Anand Karaj) rituals. The wedding was quite a close and intimate affair, with only close friends and family members in attendance.

We shared with you several interesting details of the wedding and now the latest reports suggest that DeepVeer’s Sindhi wedding had a temporary Gurudwara set up created at the venue.

According to a report in the leading daily Mid-Day, every little detail was planned and taken care of, even an Indian priest from Amritsar was present to officiate the wedding as per Sindhi rituals. Deepika and Ranveer wanted to follow all the rituals and traditions and made special arrangements for a temporary Gurudwara to be created inside the villa.

It also reiterates the fact that despite the wedding happening in a faraway Italy, DeepVeer hasn’t forgotten their roots. The intricate attention to every detail was one of the highlights of their wedding.

The most awaited wedding certainly lived up to its hype. When the couple shared their first pictures on Instagram, it literally broke the internet. The couple’s wedding had all the razzmatazz,  panache and glamour.

The lovebirds will now throw a lavish reception parties at Bengaluru and Mumbai and that would be quite an affair as well!
