Filmmaker Mahesh Jirawala Confirmed Dead

Mahesh had left his home in Naroda on an Activa scooter and went missing around Civil Hospital Shahibaug. His brother, Kartikbhai Kalavadiya, filed a missing person report at the Naroda Police Station. The police traced Mahesh’s phone, which was last active near the crash site, raising suspicion. When the police informed the family, they denied any link between Mahesh’s disappearance and the crash.

A DNA test showed a match between the unidentified body and Mahesh’s brother, but the family still refused to believe it was him. They demanded further proof before accepting the body.

Further investigation, led by Shahibaug PI J.D. Zala, revealed CCTV footage showing Mahesh near the crash site. Later, a burnt Activa was found, and its engine and chassis numbers matched Mahesh’s vehicle.

Once police confirmed the scooter’s identity, the family broke down in grief. The body was handed over after all verifications. At the Ahmedabad Civil Hospital, the family mourned deeply and thanked the police for their sensitive support.
