Released on Thursday, March 19 (with paid previews in certain Indian cities a day earlier) Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar The Revenge has impressed the audience. Also known as Dhurandhar 2, the Ranveer Singh-led spy action thriller has not only taken over social media but is also dominating the box office. As per a recent box office report, the film – that follows the life of Jaskirat Singh Rangi as he infiltrates and takes down the terrorist network in Pakistan as Hamza Ali Mazari, has netted over Rs 500 crores in India in just less than a week.

Dhurandhar 2 Box Office
As reported by trade website Sacnilk, Dhurandhar 2 witnessed an expected dip on Monday, earning a meak but still impressive Rs 65 crore at the domestic box office. Paired with the film’s first four days earning and the collection from its paid previews, the film’s current nett had amounted to an impressive Rs 519.12 crore.

Talking about the Day 5 language-wise breakup, the film earned Rs 60 crore through its Hindi screening followed by Rs 3.50 crore in Telugu, Rs 1.20 crore in Tamil and Rs 15 lakh in both Kannada and Malayalam
With today’s nett collection – even if it amounts to just Rs 50 crore, the spy action thriller is likely to earn more then the domestic lifetime collection of Gadar 2 (Rs 525.45 crore), Pathaan (Rs 543.05) and Animal (Rs 556.36 crore).

Giving the film a 4.5 star rating, Bollywood Bubble wrote in its review, “Dhurandhar 2 Will Not Disappoint. From Aditya Dhar’s writing and direction to Ranveer Singh’s power-packed but emotional and raw performance to its music, side character arcs, set design, action, VFX and more, all the boxes have been ticked.”
Unlike the first part, this instalment of the high-octane spy-action spectacle has released in five languages — Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
