Dhurandhar The Revenge Box Office: Ranveer Singh Led Spy Action Thriller Mints Rs 44 Cr From Paid Previews

Dhurandhar 2 Kicks Off With A Strong Opening

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the spy action thriller earned Rs 44 crore from paid previews on Wednesday alone. The collections were driven by 12,292 shows across the country, with an overall occupancy of 46.7%.

Reviewing the film, NDTV’s in-house critic awarded Dhurandhar: The Revenge 3 out of 5 stars, noting, “Dhurandhar 2 is musically richer than its predecessor, featuring a recreation of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s qawwali Dil Pe Zakham Khate Hain, Kishore Kumar’s Kabhi Bekasi Ne Maara from Alag Alag, and Boney M’s Rasputin, alongside several other timeless hits spanning decades.”

She further added, “Yes, Yami Gautam is very much part of Dhurandhar 2. In fact, the film features a Haq connection. We may, or may not, discover that she reprises her role as RAW agent Pallavi Sharma from Uri: The Surgical Strike. In Dhurandhar 2, there’s another tie to Uri: The Surgical Strike. Spoiler alert: it’s not Vicky Kaushal, but the reveal is truly epic.”

About The Film

Dhurandhar: The Revenge stars Ranveer Singh as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, an Indian spy who goes deep undercover in Karachi under the alias Hamza Ali Mazari. The film follows Hamza’s ascent in Lyari’s criminal underworld as he works to dismantle terror networks while pursuing a personal vendetta. The sequel to the 2025 hit also sees R. Madhavan returning as Ajay Sanyal and Sanjay Dutt as SP Chaudhary Aslam. Arjun Rampal reprises his role as Major Iqbal, with Sara Arjun playing Ranveer’s love interest, Yalina. The pan-India project was officially released in theatres today in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
