Dhurandhar Box Office (Worldwide): Ranveer Singh-Led Franchise Makes History! Becomes First Indian Film Series To Mint Over Rs 3000 Cr Globally

Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar (released on December 5) and The Revenge (released on March 19) have made history! The spy action thriller – that tells the story of the unknown men who risk their lives and sacrifice their families to keep out country safe, have become the FIRST Indian film franchise to gorss over Rs 3,000 crore at the global box office.

You read that right! As per recent box office reports, the Ranveer Singh-led action series – that also stars Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, Gaurav Gera, Sara Arjun and more, has managed to cross the Rs 3000 mark as the second instalment still continues to screen in theatres globally. As reported by trade website Sacnilk, the Dhurandhar film series – with phenomenal performances of both instalments, has a combined worldwide gross surpassing the Rs 3000 crore mark. The first part- released in December 2025, become the highest-grossing film at the Hindi box office with a nett collection of around Rs 840 crores and a gross domestic Rs 1000+ crore. This instalment released only in Hindi and earned an impressive Rs 1307.35 crores worldwide despite not releasing in the Gulf market, China and a few other countries.

Unlike its first instalment, Dhurandhar 2 released in multiple languages – Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. Despite not releasing in several countries once again, Dhurandhar The Revenge became a box office spectacle, amassing over Rs 1700 crore gross globally. It’s to be noted, the film is still being screened in several theatres and managed to nett Rs 6.18 crore on its 4th Monday.

Bollywood Bubble reviewed the 2025 film and gave it a 4-star rating. Giving the sequel a 4.5 star rating, Bollywood Bubble wrote in its review, “Dhurandhar 2 Will Not Disappoint. From Aditya Dhar’s writing and direction to Ranveer Singh’s power-packed but emotional and raw performance to its music, side character arcs, set design, action, VFX and more, all the boxes have been ticked.”
