Ranveer Singh-led espionage actioner Dhurandhar has won the hearts of the audience and how! Written, directed and co-produced by Aditya Dhar written, the film – inspired by the real-life incidents, geopolitical conflicts and covert operations of RAW, ran nearly housefull on its opening day, leading to several theatres now adding midnight and early morning shows.

With so much love pouring in, the spy action thriller – also starring Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, R Madhavan and Rakesh Bedi in lead roles, as emerged as Ranveer’s biggest opener to date with a NBOC of over Rs 28 crore. As per the latest box office reports, Dhurandhar has collected more than Padmaavat on Day 1 to emerges as Ranveer Singh’s biggest box office opener to date. According to official sources, the NBOC for Aditya Dhar’s spy thriller was Rs 28.60 crore, an impressive Rs 4.60 crore more than the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film that impressed fans in 2018.

Giving the film a 4-star rating, Bollywood Bubble wrote in its review, “Dhurandhar is worth a watch as it not only has some of Bollywood’s best actors delivering top-notch performances, but it’s a also a patriotic film that honours and celebrates the unknown and unsung heroes who willingly enter the most dangerous of situations in order to make sure the nation is safe.” The review also noted, “Dhurandhar’s music, cinematography and dialogues along with a well-written but lengthy script also deserve rounds of applauds.”
