Dhurandhar The Revenge Box Office: Ranveer Singh’s Action Spy Thriller Crosses Rs 120 Cr Worldwide In Advance Bookings

Aditya Dhar’s spy thriller, Dhurandhar 2, starring Ranveer Singh, has already sold nearly 10 lakh tickets worldwide, generating around Rs 120 crore in advance sales. With just three days remaining before its release on Thursday, the buzz surrounding the film is expected to intensify. The sequel continues to break box office records both domestically and internationally, even four days ahead of its release on March 19, coinciding with Eid, Ugadi, and Gudi Padwa. Already, the film has crossed Rs 60 crore in India and Rs 100 crore globally through pre-sales.

On Sunday alone, Dhurandhar The Revenge sold an additional 1.5 lakh tickets for its opening day—matching the total tickets sold during the first 24 hours of Saturday’s advance booking. The film’s advance sales on Sunday added Rs 7 crore to its domestic box office tally. Excluding the block booking amount of around Rs 8 crore, the total from advance sales stands at Rs 14.42 crore.

According to Sacnilk, the majority of advance sales come from the Hindi version, which sold 2.82 lakh tickets for Rs 13.70 crore. This figure does not include IMAX formats, which sold 4,943 tickets for Rs 41.97 lakh, or Dolby Cinema tickets, totalling 243 tickets for Rs 1.74 lakh. The dubbed Telugu version sold 13,429 tickets for Rs 17.84 lakh, ranking second in advance sales.

Advance bookings for paid previews, which began nine days ago alongside the launch of the highly anticipated trailer, have already sold 6.86 lakh tickets for showings on the evening of March 18. The revenue from these pre-sales amounts to Rs 32.36 crore. When combined with the approximate Rs 5 crore from block bookings, the total pre-sale revenue reaches Rs 37.31 crore.

It remains to be seen whether Dhurandhar 2 will surpass the record-breaking performance of the first film, which became the highest-grossing Indian film ever at the domestic box office with over Rs 890 crore, and the fourth highest-grossing Indian film worldwide, earning over Rs 1300 crore. Co-produced by Aditya and Lokesh Dhar’s B62 Studios along with Jyoti Deshpande’s Jio Studios, Dhurandhar 2 features Ranveer Singh alongside Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi reprising their memorable roles.
