Drishyam 2 Box Office: Ajay Devgn starrer shows a very strong hold on second Monday

Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam 2 has successfully entered the second week with its ‘very strong’ hold at the box office, in terms of the second Monday collections. The Abhishek Pathak directorial was released on November 18 and has maintained its trend. After phenomenal collections of 100 crore in the first week, Drishyam 2 is now inching closer to the 150 crore mark, at the box office.

The Abhishek Pathak directorial is heading for an excellent second week with its second Monday collections. The movie managed to rake a total collection of over 5 crore on the second Monday. The Ajay Devgn starrer has collected 5.25 crore nett, taking it total to 146 crore nett in only eleven days of the release.

Going by the numbers of Drishyam 2, it seems like the release of Bhediya has not affected the movie at all. And, in spite of the release of Bhediya, the Ajay Devgn starrer is still going strong all over the country.

Drishyam 2 had opened with a collection of approximately 15 crore on the first day of the release. The movie continued show a spectacular growth in the collections and has maintained its pace ever since.

As per a Box Office India report, “The film is now trending better than all the original Hindi releases post pandemic except for The Kashmir Files.” And, with the box office business and its trending, Drishyam 2 is heading for a 57-58 crore nett total in the second week, which is easily better than Sooryavanshi and Brahmastra, says the report.

Meanwhile, Drishyam 2 was the sequel of the 2015 movie directed by Nishikant Kamat. It features Tabu, Akshaye Khanna, Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, Ishita Dutta, and Mrunal Jadhav.
