‘Fukrey Returns’ starts off on a good note at the box office

The comic-caper ‘Fukrey Returns’ released yesterday and the movie has received a great response at the box office. It has minted Rs 8 crore nett on its opening day and that’s quite a good number to start with. Delhi/UP and East Punjab have performed excellently. The movie has registered the highest opening without any face value. Movies like ‘Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion’ and ‘M.S. In East Punjab, the movie has minted Rs 1.10 crore nett and the business is even more than that of ‘Kaabil’, ‘Baadshaho’ and ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’.

The movie started quite well from the morning shows and maintained it through the evening too. Especially in the Delhi NCR area, the movie has done well.

The first movie ‘Fukrey’ which had released in 2013 had done a business of Rs 2.46 crore nett on its first day, so the second part is even bigger than the first one. Now, it’s to be seen if this movie manages to sustain itself on Monday as that will decide its exact fate.
