Housefull 5 Box Office: Sajid Nadiadwala’s Multi-Starrer Comedy Earns Rs 7.16 Cr In Advance Bookings Domestically

Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, Sajid Nadiadwala’s Housefull 5 has already made a significant mark with Rs 2.99 crore in advance ticket sales across India at the box office. The highly popular Housefull franchise is returning with its fifth instalment, scheduled to hit theatres tomorrow, June 6. Based on the robust advance booking numbers, the film is expected to have a strong opening at the box office. Known for its exaggerated comedy and ensemble cast, Housefull 5 is creating considerable excitement. It is poised to become another crowd-pleasing blockbuster.

Housefull 5 Domestic Advance Booking

Even before its official release, Housefull 5 is off to a remarkable start. According to Sacnilk, the comedy film has secured Rs 2.99 crore through advance ticket sales across India, with approximately 1,00,588 tickets sold for over 13,876 shows as of Wednesday evening, June 4. When including bulk bookings, the total advance revenue rises to Rs 7.16 crore, as reported by the Times of India.

With these promising figures and the franchise’s established popularity, Housefull 5 is set to make a formidable impact at the box office, potentially delivering one of the year’s biggest openings. Compared to Akshay Kumar’s previous release, Kesari Chapter 2, which garnered Rs 1.84 crore in advance bookings, Housefull 5 has taken the lead with a significantly stronger pre-release performance.

The previous instalment, Housefull 4, released during the Diwali festival in 2019, amassed Rs 8 crore in advance bookings. Riding the festive spirit, it opened to over Rs 19 crore net on its first day, setting a high benchmark for Housefull 5. The Housefull franchise has established itself as a box office powerhouse, collectively earning over Rs 788 crore worldwide. Housefull 4 alone contributed Rs 296 crore to this total. With such a strong legacy, expectations are high for Housefull 5 to deliver another blockbuster hit.

Boasting an ensemble cast of 19 stars, Housefull 5 is the most glam-packed killer comedy yet. Leading the charge is the king of comedy himself, Akshay Kumar. He will be joined by Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, and Jackie Shroff. Also seen will be Nana Patekar, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Panday, Johnny Lever, and Shreyas Talpade.
